Soccer Update

Liberty High School’s men's soccer season is going great. Their record is 4-1 and they’re currently ranked 27th in the state and ranked nationally at 188.

Hayden Prasad (Senior), number ten, has been named player of the game three games in a row. So far in this, season, Prasad has played 10 games and has 24 shots, 25 points, has scored 9 goals, had 7 assists and 6 steals.

“It sucks that the season is coming to an end soon, but I do plan on moving forward to college soccer,” said Prasad.

For the women's soccer team, their record in the season so far is four wins one loss and one tie. They’re  ranked 15th in the state and nationally ranked 896.

The most recent game for the girls team was a home game against Sierra Vista. On Tuesday, September 25th, the women's soccer team lost to Sierra Vista in a conference game, final score 4-2.

Lexi Gilliland (Junior) has been on varsity for three years.

“I love soccer and I’m sad that it’ll be coming to an end soon,” said Gilliland   

This year, the women's soccer team is working on their goal to make it to state this season.
